Creamed Rice with Dates Use one portion of pre-cooked rice, add a splash of coconut cream and a few chopped dates - Jo Moore |
Apple Crumble - 1/4 cup of flour - 20g margarine or butter - 2 tsp sugar - 1 apple Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Put the flour, margarine and leftover sugar in a bowl and rub with your fingers until it is like breadcrumbs. In a large ramekin or small baking dish spread the apple filling and then put the crumble mixture on top. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until crispy brown on top. - Amy Mead |
Toffee - 1 cup sugar - 60ml water Stir water and sugar over a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Don't bring to a boil until the sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to high. To dissolve any sugar left on the sides of the pan, brush down with a wet pastry brush. Cook until the mixture is a rich golden colour - don't let it burn. Remove it from the heat. - Nissa Loughery |
Banana Peel and slice a banana. Put it in a ziplock bag or small container and freeze. When frozen, blend with a little water until smooth (this may take time so be patient!) - Ab Aryapratheep |
