Legal & Reporting
Even though we're all young people, and have an organisational culture that reflects that, we take the legal and health & wellbeing stuff pretty seriously. It's important that we all understand our rights and responsibilities as Oaktree representatives - our policies are the best place to start, but if you need have any questions or need the legal team to help you with something, use the request form below. You'll find all the relevant info about Oaktree's charity status & our Annual Reports here, too.
Every now and then we get to spend money in our budget, or have to pay for something for Oaktree (office printer ran out of ink and you bought more? We'll get it.). Get approval to spend money first, and keep your receipts - the Finance team need all the paperwork to go through properly make sure our statements balance and that we're spending money on the right things. Nothing goes out until these forms go in.
Training & Resources
You're going to learn a lot just in the day-to-day of Oaktree, but sometimes you don't want to learn by trial and error. Most of our trainings are now on the online platform Go1, however this is a work in progress. We want to make sure that the things we learn as individuals are shared throughout the organisation, and that you can access what you need, when you need it. It's on all of us to step up to share what we know - chat to your manager, State Director or the People and Culture team to start contributing.
