Cost and what is covered in the ticket price?

The cost per ticket for the summit if $30 for individuals or $20 per person in groups of ten or more.

Your ticket will give you access to the entire summit area on the lawns of Parliament House. Kicking off with a Panel discussion on the future of Australia's role in global poverty alleviation, you'll have access to some incredible speakers and sessions throughout the day.

Who will be presenting or speaking on the day?

The End Poverty Summit will bring together key leaders from politics, development and social change.

On the Breakfast Panel:

  • Mat Tinkler - Director of Policy and Public Affairs – Save the Children

  • Senator Christine Milne - Leader of the Greens

What is the agenda?

Here’s a taste of what’s in store:

7:30am - Breakfast Panel Discussion on the future of Australia’s role in the future of poverty alleviation featuring Senator Christine Milne, The Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, Mat Tinkler (Save the Children) and Mark Zirnsak (Tax Justice Network)

9am - Choose from a variety of sessions to attend including ‘Campaigning Training and Tools’ with Bec Wilson (Australian Progress) and ‘Using stories to achieve social change’ with Brigid Canny (FYA)

11am - Media Moment on Parliament Lawns: Stand alongside hundreds of young people as we call on our leaders to take action.

12:30pm - Lunch from local food trucks

1:30pm - Hear the stories of other young leaders in peer-led sessions

2:45pm - Plenary session in the Big Top with Marc Purcel, Executive Director of ACFID

4:15pm - Closing plenary on creating social change with Molly Harris Olson, CEO of Fairtrade Australia.

Will there be food and drink available?

Tickets include a light breakfast during the Panel discussion. Lunch isn't included, but there will be range of local food trucks set up on the lawns of Parliament House for the Summit. Prices will range from $5-$20.
