A huge thank you to everyone who has seen my messages and emails, and even better, donated. 
The Live Below the Line challenge has ended, but donations are still accepted. 
 I am doing this challenge with my family, which means that my family of five has a maximum of $10 to spend on food a day. 
So far, we have managed to stay under the budget, and we realised how lucky we are to even have all the appliances needed to cook these cheap meals. 
We also realised that this is not just a 'budget eating challenge, but we are meant to draw on our experiences in order to help raise funds for people in need. This challenged also helped me realise the value of money, and how expensive things are these days.

Why am I Living Below the Line and What happens to your donations

For 5 days in May 2022, I, together with 70 other GWSC students, parents and teachers, will be challenging ourselves to survive on only $2 a day. We are doing this to experience living below the (poverty) line, and to raise funds for this worthy cause. GWSC has partnered with Oaktree in the Live Below the Line campaign, and would like your donation. 


By donating to my page (endorsed by Oaktree), you will support Oaktree’s partners and programs to empower young people in the fight against poverty and injustices in the Asia-Pacific region.
