Want to find out more?

So, what am I really signing up for here?

To be an effective Community Leader you'll need to make a regular time commitment, about 3 - 5 hours per week. But, we promise this is likely to be some of the best 3 - 5 hours in your week. You'll be hanging out with a great community of likeminded people, taking action to help create change and learning more about the issue of extreme poverty and Oaktree's work.

What happens after I apply?

Once we receive your application, an Oaktree volunteer will be in touch over the phone within a few days to chat more about what it means to become a Community Leader. We'll then organise a chance to chat face-to-face, either in the local office or our favourite cafe (we're pretty big on coffee at Oaktree) to bring you up to speed on what you need to know to be an effective Community Leader.
